The MEXSOFA score is used to track a person's status during the stay in an intensive care unit (ICU) to determine the extent of a person's organ function or rate of failure.

The MEXSOFA was calculated using the original SOFA scoring system with two modifications: the PaO2/FiO2 ratio was replaced with the SpO2/FiO2 ratio, and the evaluation of neurologic dysfunction was excluded. MEXSOFA was created by Dr. Silvio A. √Ďamendys Silva.

The MEXSOFA score is composed of scores for five organ systems (respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, liver and coagulation), with a possible total score ranging from 0 to 20 points. There are two differents results: Initial and 48 Hrs. After.

The MEXSOFASOFA is available for smartphones. You could get the app for iOS or ANDROID
